The Copper Key Ware

$75.00

Woog Ware No. 23

Currently on: Earl the Wonder, Month 8 of 29

This month’s addition: A “LIVE A GREAT STORY” pin, placed with great care at exactly the point where the chain splits.

Objects of delight: A split chain with two hanging drops, a copper key, a fishing lure, a “LIVE A GREAT STORY” pin, a red crystal disc, a cluster of wood chips, a tiny drill, rhinestone chain fringe, and small metal spikes.

Key Registry: Entered. Locks opened: one, but no one knows this but Frizzelda. This key is copper and the biggest in the collection, which Stripaticus says changes nothing.

The supper-club argument: Ware No. 13 already has a “LIVE A GREAT STORY” tag. Earl says his pin makes a pair across the collection. Twinsome says that two identical tags on two different Wares is exactly how mix-ups begin.

The chain splits in two, and Earl has spent a month trying to make both sides balance. The fish keeps winning. That’s Fish No. 5, and it broke the every-third pattern by landing on Ware 23. Dwayne points out that 23 is a prime number, which he trusts, so he has decided to allow it. Buddy Beaudreaux has asked about the drill. The chair is now a group concern.

In the 29 Necks, necklaces change hands every month at supper. This Ware isn’t married to its Woog. Take it home with Earl, with a different Woog, or on your own neck.
